Winter’s brought a forth
By wind, by snow, by leafless branches
Mist whistled out
Black and white, on a board of chess.
Cold clear sky
Over cracking mirrors
Where blades of metal glide
Forming lines of grace.
Breath taken with pain
Air devouring lungs
Mist whistled out
A figure on the chessboard.
Silhouette of a slim leaf
Rotating, gliding, swiftly jumping
In the wind
On the mirror of the sky.
